We offer a complete design service to ensure your Fire and Gas system meets with the standards associated with Functional Safety in accordance with IEC 61511. Our team of Safety Experts from HG Safety are experienced in delivering conceptual designs during the engineering phase of the project to ensure the system meets HSE legislation and guidelines. Furthermore, we are able to provide an assessment of the hazards associated with the Fire and Gas (F & G) Safety Related System (SRS) for the plant.
A Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) can be conducted to determine potential risks to personal safety, assets (costs) and the environment. A Risk Matrix will be analysed and calibrated in line with generally accepted levels of risk presented in HSE document R2P2.
Existing risk mitigation measures will be taken into account and the requirements for risk reduction were determined and expressed in terms of Safety Integrity Levels (SILs), in accordance with IEC61508.
